Media Archive for Central England are preparing to release the first of a number of retail DVDs that will be released in the coming months and years, and our first DVD release is The Black Country 1969.

The Media Archive for Central England (MACE) is the public sector moving image archive for the East & West Midlands. MACE was established in 2000, its aim is to connect people to, and engage people with the screen heritage of the Midlands by collecting and preserving materials which relate to the regions.

MACE already holds a large collection of moving image relevant to the Midlands, from the ATV and Central regional television collections to a variety of professional and amateur films from the 1890s up to the present day. MACE organises a range of educational and other activities in partnership with bodies across the Midlands.
